What you need to know before you consider using any types of hair extensions we offer in FMN Studio.
HAIR CONDITION
Healthy hair is our main focus first and foremost at FMN Studio. If you feel your hair is dry, weak or in poor condition, there is an option to use K18 treatment for home care or in-salon treatment for stronger results, to get the strands of hair in strong texture before any hair extensions are applied as they are attached to your hair strands. It is important to have your hair in perfect condition before any hair extensions are applied.
HAIR PREPARATION
Preparing your hair with suitable shampoo, conditioner and any other products for hair care, the best option is to use sulphate and paraben-free products, as these are also essential for your extension aftercare routine.
AFTERCARE
After the hair extensions are applied, we recommend not using the K18 as it opens the cuticle of the hair, where the hair extensions are chemically treated to stay closed, to keep the silk and shiny look. Available in the studio, we recommend the Belle Hair Brushes & our range of Kevin Murphy sulphate and paraben-free products, for the best home aftercare.
HAIR EXTENSIONS
We work with Belle Hair Extensions, an Irish company run by Hair Extension specialists who pride themselves in providing the highest quality 100% human hair extensions. Belle Hair has great colour options and the possibility to make the hair colour match your unique colour.
TYPES
Invisible Tape Hair Extensions for an invisible look, are very popular as a side filler. You can keep them in your hair for 6 to 8 weeks before we refit them for you in our studio. I-Tips Hair Extensions, applied in small rings padded with silicone to protect the hair from snapping or cutting. You can keep them in your hair for 8 to 10 weeks before we refit them for you in our studio. Clip-in Hair Extensions, our a non-permanent hair extension option, but it’s a great option to have beautiful long hair for any upcoming event or your big wedding day as they are also made from real 100% human hair. Home care is exactly the same as for any other type of hair extensions mentioned above.
NOT RECOMMENDED
